It all starts with regional markets

Georgette Vialade, the visionary grandmother, harvests wild mushrooms and sells them at markets in the south of France.

1985
SARL Maison Vialade

His son Jean-Claude officially founded SARL Maison Vialade in Montlaur, Aveyron.

1990 à 2000
Development phase

Jean-Claude develops wild mushroom collection areas and imports products from the EU.

2004
The international market

Supported by the 3rd generation and specialized in packaging and distribution, the company moved to St Charles, Perpignan's international fruit and vegetable market.

Towards a CSR approach

Maison Vialade opens its own mushroom farm at the foot of Mont Canigou, in Olette, Pyrénées-Orientales, and becomes the 1st producer of button mushrooms in the south of France.

2018

A major year

The Olette mushroom farm doubles its production capacity from 3,750 to 8,500 m2 and creates a 100% organic unit.

2023

Opening of a second production site

In Rivesaltes, Maison Vialade inaugurates its ultra-modern 10,000 m2 facility, doubling its production.
The company becomes a major player in production (4500 tons of mushrooms per year). The company becomes a major player, producing 4,500 tons of mushrooms a year.
